Look at my little soccer player go! Mia Hamm in the making don't you think? Actually, the real story is, she cried the first week and never went back in after about one minute, week two involved her being in the game, but she came nowhere near the ball, and this, is week three. She is actually hustling after the ball. We were so proud of her! I think at one point, she did make contact with it as well. Hopefully by the last game (which is in two weeks) she'll kick the ball. We have such high hopes for our children!

Lauren was just like that in soccer. She would wait for the ball to come to her and then just kick it away and stand there some more. We were always like, "Run after it! Keep kicking it!"
If Mike is anything like Brian regarding soccer (and, yes, I know he is), he probably loses his voice at every game from all the "coaching" they do on the sidelines.
She looks like a pro already! I love that you have her playing soccer! Of, course! I've just been thinking about you! Are you ready to have this baby already?!?!? I can't wait to hear the news...only a few more weeks!!!! Good luck! This should be a piece of cake!
Hey Erin,
It looks like Abbie had a pretty good time playing soccer. I just wish that she and Lauren could have played together. Also, I love the funny quotes. Kids say the funniest things!
Thats a great action shot! Way to go Abbie, keep up the work!!!

Erin, this sounds just like our experience with Brooklyn playing soccer. We had our last game a few days ago. I can't say she got anymore aggressive, but I do think she was enjoyinging it by the end.
How's life? I bet you are getting ready for baby. Not too long to go!
Yay! Love the shot, Abbie looks like a big kid. Can't wait to see you all! Mom
