We are still here in Georgia. The weather has been beautiful and as you can see we have been taking full advantage of it. Mike comes back down here on Tuesday and he and I are going to Agusta for his interview. The kids are staying here with mom and Kent. Ha Ha. We'll see how it goes! I can't believe it's December already!! We are getting very excited about our trip to Utah in a few weeks. We can't wait to see everyone.

We are here in Warner Robins GA visiting mom and Kent. We had Thanksgiving day with them. I was sick and throwing up all day and couldn't enjoy the wonderful feast. Mike and Abbie woke up with the same illness last night and have not been feeling well today. ike goes home tomorrow and the kids and I are stayiing here for another two weeks. Mike will actually fly back here on the 5th of December for an interview at the University of Georgia. We wiil drive home with him after that. The weather is beautiful here. It hardly feels like November when it's 75 degrees outside and sunny. Hopefully we will all be over our sickness in a few days and we can enjoy the rest of out vacation. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We love you all!!

Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a great Halloween last night. It rained here all day and I was complaining about it all day and I guess someone heard those complaints because it stopped raining and cleared up literally right as we were walking out the door to go trick-or-treating. We were able to be with all of our friends here in Columbus. We had dinner together and then took all of the kids around. Abbie and Landon had a great time. We were the last ones to get back to the house. Mike took full advantage of having Landon this year and doubled our candy load. Mike is off to lots of interviews over the next five or six weeks. He will be flying and driving in and out of Columbus every few days. Pray that all goes well with his interviews. We love and miss you all.

Hale Family

Hale Family
Sorry that I have not written for awhile. Our computer crashed about 10 days ago and we have had to borrow our neighbors lap top to check anything out. That is what I am writing this on right now. Don't worry though.....Mike did his thing where he researches out every possible option, calculates everything out, and sees where he can save 5or 10 dollars and has ordered us a new computer. it should actully be arriving tomorrow. Thank goodness. I didn't realize that you cannot survive for long in this world without a computer. Ok, I really only want one so that Abbie can play her computer games on Nick Jr. and so that I can email and look at blogs, oh and Old Navy.com, but to me, that is survival. Mike and took tha kids and went to Iowa City, Iowa this weekend. Mike had an interview there for Oral Surgery Residency and since it is his top choice, I decided to go with him to look at housing. The drive is 8 hours each way. The kids were actually pretty good. They were watching the dvd player and Mike and I listened to some books on CD. I didn't however like the city too much. It is a great school and Mike would be extatic to match there, but I found it too small and older than I had pictured it. I guess I would get used to it though. We got back last night and I'm sure the kids are glad to be home...in fact on the way to church today, Landon immediately started crying when we put him in his car seat. Everything else here is good. Back to the grind tomorrow!

Good things come to those who wait!

So here we are, nine months after we bought Abbie a bike for her birthday and she is finally riding it. She decided that she was going to ride little "push with your feet" bikes because her princess bike is too big. All summer she was trailing behind all of her friends while they rode their big bikes. She didn't care though. She was too scared to get on her bike. Mike and I tried everything to get her to ride that bike. We were starting to think that we wasted $30. Then today, I turned around and she was rinding her bike. Very slowly mind you, but she was riding. It is amazing what kids will do on their own time. Little stinker!

Hey everyone! We decided to join the crowd and create a blog. All is well here in Ohio. We miss all of our families and friends. The kids are doing great. Abbie streted preschool a couple of weeks ago and is loving it. Landon just turned one a rew days ago. Mike has been on break from school this past week and goes back on Monday. He and I are headed to the Osio State/Penn State game today. Hope it doesn't rain too bad on us. I will try to keep this site updated for everyone. We love you all!
