Rainy Day Fun

So when the weather outside looks like this.........

Here is something fun to try!

My kids LOVE to jump, and since we couldn't go outside and jump off the slide yesterday, we jumped inside! We took all the cushions off the couch and jumped our little hearts out. Well, I didn't but you get the idea. I highly recommend this entertainment (if you don't mind your couch cushions being jumped on). My kids were entertained for a long time. This is actually something they do a lot. Don't worry Grandmas...no broken bones yet!

Oh, my goodness! That looks like fun. In the second picture (with Landon upside down), it looks like his neck is about to break. I'm sure your mom will freak out when she sees it!
Anyway, I have discovered that blowing bubbles keeps my kids entertained for about an hour. We will definitely try the jumping, too.

Yeah, so I let my kids jump, eat on, peep on, and everything else on our old couches. Now we have our first new couches, it is really hard to break old habits. I think it is better to have couches you are more relaxed about, so on rainy days, you can let them have a ball. You are one of those fun parents that all the kids will want to play at your house. Looks like fun!

Congrats on your news and on surviving the sicky part! No fun. Your kids look so old. Well mostly Landon but Abbie looks tall, too. We say YEAH for spring too. What a long winter!!

Congrats on the baby! I can totally see the bouncing happening in our home soon whether I approve or not! We already had to lower his crib as low as it would go b/c I was afraid he was going to jump over the side, I swear he thinks his bed is a bounce house!

okay, yeah, I'm officially freaking. no broken bones, but a neck sprain, right?! that's $$ at the doctor and hiked premiums for you. uh, this is what you kids did too at when you were little; in utah on 50 S. you bounced in the basement (concrete floor) and i [ex]tinctly remember brad 'bouncing' down the basement steps one day, too little to go down as fast you and jen could go; he's no landon hale for sure. oh, don't forget bringing every blanket in the house to put over the furniture in the livingroom in cincinnati - brad was the ringleader for that deal most of the time. you were all very wiggly then. it's raining here too.
