The "F" Word
So, Abbie came home from school last week and said "Mom, Heidi from my bus said the F word to me." Heart stopped, palms sweaty, freaking out. She's only in Kindergarten for cryin out loud!! "What did she say?" I asked, not really wanting to hear the answer to this. "She said Old Macdonald had a Farm, fart, fart, fart." Ok, I can live with that F word. For the record (mom), we did have a talk about it not being a nice word and not to use it.

That is like when, a few weeks ago, Lauren came home so upset because a boy called her Stupid. I'm glad they are still innocent enough to think that those are Really Bad Words.
And, I love that you needed to tell your mom that you told Abbie not to say Fart. My mom doesn't allow that word, either!

This is sooo funny. You were much better brought up than I was. I use the word "fart" on a regular basis including as a term of endearment when I address my kids
i.e. "you little fart"! It's words like this that are going to keep me from ever being a true lady. Love ya, Sandra
